The Honda HRC216HDA self-propelled
commercial lawn mower features a hydrostatic cruise control system for
precision speed control between 2.1 and 4 mph. A shaft drive (no belts)
transfers power from the engine to the transmission to make it
maintenance free. The HRC216HDA has a Honda GXV160 commercial grade 4
stroke engine that is CARB compliant and meets all 50 US state EPA
emissions standards.
The Honda HRC216HDA features the MicroCut twin blade cutting system
which produces smaller lawn clippings for better bagging and superb
mulching performance. The rugged 21 inch heavy duty steel deck can cut
at 8 different heights and has deck guards and a front bumper for
protection. The Honda Roto-Stop blade override system lets you step away
from the mower without shutting off the engine.
- Commercial Grade GXV160 Engine: Honda's GXV160 4 stroke
commercial grade engine is designed to be quiet, powerful, easy to
start, and extremely reliable. With a cast iron cylinder sleeve, ball
bearing supported crankshaft, 2 stage air filter, electronic ignition,
and mechanical governor, the GXV160 is prepared to be used hard and used
often by professional landscapers.
- Commercial Hydrostatic Cruise Control: Honda's cruise control
hydrostatic transmission lets you quickly and easily set and variably
adjust your mower's speed between 2.1 and 4 mph. The cruise control,
just like with a car, allows you to stop mowing and then jump back to
your previous pace. No need to remember settings. Honda is the only
manufacturer to offer a heavy duty hydrostatic transmission on a walk
behind mower.
- MicroCut Twin Blade Cutting System: The twin blade MicroCut
cutting system produces very fine lawn clippings. The first blade makes a
large cut into the grass, while the second blade makes a smaller cut
grooming and shaping the lawn. Two two cuts result in grass that gets
chopped into smaller pieces, so your bag can hold more, and your mulched
grass degrades quickly to pass nutrients into your lawn.
